By accessing or using the INDIAFIRST® website, mobile applications, OTT services, or related digital platforms, users agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions in accordance with the laws of India. If a user does not agree with these terms, they must immediately discontinue use of the platform.
INDIAFIRST® provides digital streaming services that include news and current affairs programming, entertainment content, educational video modules, podcasts, opinion programming, and live event streaming. All content and services on the platform are currently offered free of charge.
INDIAFIRST® operates in compliance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 as amended, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and other applicable Indian laws governing digital media platforms.
Users must be at least eighteen years of age to create an account independently. Minors may access services only under parental or guardian supervision. Users are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of account credentials and for all activities conducted under their accounts.
Users agree not to upload, publish, transmit, or distribute any unlawful, defamatory, obscene, infringing, misleading, hateful, anti-national, or otherwise prohibited content. INDIAFIRST® reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts involved in piracy, hate speech, misinformation, impersonation, or regulatory violations.
INDIAFIRST® currently offers all content free of charge. Should paid features be introduced in the future, applicable fees, billing cycles, and payment terms will be clearly disclosed in advance.
All content available on INDIAFIRST®, including videos, graphics, articles, logos, trademarks, software, design architecture, and audio-visual works, is protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 and the Trade Marks Act, 1999. No content may be reproduced, redistributed, downloaded for commercial purposes, or rebroadcast without prior written authorization.
All disputes shall be governed by the laws of India and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in Kerala, India.
INDIAFIRST® is committed to protecting user data in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable data protection regulations in India.
INDIAFIRST® may collect personal data including name, email address, and phone number (required for account creation and OTP-based authentication), and optionally, device information, IP address, and viewing behavior for platform improvement. Country, district, and constituency are optional fields and are not required to use the platform. INDIAFIRST® does not currently collect payment or subscription data as all content is offered free of charge.
Personal data is collected for purposes including account creation, content personalization, fraud prevention, analytics, regulatory compliance, and communication with users.
Data processing is conducted based on user consent, contractual necessity, compliance with legal obligations, and legitimate business interests.
INDIAFIRST® implements industry-standard security measures including encryption, DRM-based content protection, tokenized streaming sessions, secure CDN distribution, HTTPS protocols, and abnormal activity monitoring to prevent unauthorized access and piracy.
Users have the right to request access to their data, correction of inaccurate information, withdrawal of consent, deletion of data subject to statutory retention requirements, and nomination of a representative in case of incapacity. Requests may be submitted to media@indiafirst.com.
Personal data will be retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill contractual obligations or comply with statutory requirements.
Users may request permanent deletion of their INDIAFIRST® account and all associated personal data at any time.
Option 1: Through the App

3. Navigate to Settings > Account > Delete Account
4. Confirm the deletion request
Option 2: Via Email
Send an email to support@indiafirst.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" along with your registered email address.
Account deletion requests will be processed within 30 days. Upon deletion, all personal data including viewing history, preferences, and profile information will be permanently removed, subject to any legal retention obligations.
INDIAFIRST® classifies entertainment content in accordance with the self-classification guidelines prescribed under the Information Technology Rules, 2021. Content may be labeled as suitable for general audiences, parental guidance categories, or adults only. Age-gating mechanisms and parental control features are implemented to restrict access to mature content.
Content involving sensitive political discussions, social debates, or strong thematic elements will include viewer advisories where necessary.
INDIAFIRST® adheres to principles of accuracy, fairness, and transparency in news and current affairs programming. Editorial decisions are guided by verification of sources, balanced representation of viewpoints, and clear distinction between opinion content and factual reporting.
INDIAFIRST® does not engage in paid news practices and maintains transparency in sponsored programming and political advertising. Corrections and clarifications are issued promptly when factual inaccuracies are identified.
In compliance with the Information Technology Rules, 2021, INDIAFIRST® maintains a grievance redressal mechanism. Users may submit complaints regarding content, privacy concerns, copyright infringement, or regulatory violations to support@indiafirst.com. Complaints will be acknowledged within 24 hours and resolved within 15 days, subject to the complexity of the issue.
INDIAFIRST® complies with the three-tier grievance structure mandated by the Government of India for digital news and OTT platforms.
If any person believes that their copyrighted work has been infringed upon through content available on INDIAFIRST®, they may submit a written complaint including proof of ownership, identification of the allegedly infringing material, and a declaration of good faith belief that the use is unauthorized.
Upon receiving a valid complaint, INDIAFIRST® may remove or disable access to the content pending investigation.
All advertisements published on INDIAFIRST® must comply with Indian advertising standards, including guidelines issued by the Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI) and the Election Commission of India for political advertisements.
Political advertisements must clearly disclose sponsorship and authorization details. INDIAFIRST® reserves the right to reject or remove advertisements that are misleading, defamatory, unlawful, or non-compliant with regulatory guidelines.
Hyperlocal targeted advertising is conducted in compliance with applicable data protection and election laws.
INDIAFIRST® uses essential, functional, analytics, and advertising cookies to enhance user experience, improve content recommendations, and analyze platform performance. Users may manage cookie preferences through browser settings.
INDIAFIRST® is a registered trademark protected under the Trade Marks Act, 1999 across multiple classes relating to software, streaming services, advertising, education, and entertainment. Unauthorized use of the trademark or associated brand assets is strictly prohibited.
The INDIAFIRST® platform operates in accordance with applicable Indian laws governing digital media, OTT streaming services, news broadcasting, and data protection.
